Julie Dirksen honors two long-time supporters Skip Costa and Kim Dixon. Both retired from business this year along the MacArthur corridor.

Terrance Jordan was presented with the Outstanding MBA Education Member. Terrance is the principal of Black Hawk Elementary School and is an active member of the MBA.

Chris Hanken was presented with the Outstanding New MBA Business Member. He operates Pie’s The Limit which recently opened on MacArthur.

Officer Tami Russell is transitioning out of her role as NPO for the MacArthur area. She was presented with this year’s Outstanding MBA Civic Member.

Tami introduced her replacement, Springfield Police Officer Mike Badger.

Linda Cox, Monica Davis, Laurie Farrell, Sue Hage, Sue Manson, and Pat Ryan received an award for their dedication to the after school program at the newly renovated Boulevard Town Homes.

Katie Davison explains the MBA’s desire to distribute all of the proceeds from this year’s Bites on the Boulevard events to our four area schools.

Springfield Public Schools – District 186 Superintendent Jennifer Gil congratulated each administrator and emphasized the connection between strong schools and strong communities.

Black Hawk Elementary, Butler Elementary, Franklin Middle School, and Blessed Sacrament School each received $1,000 donations from Bites on the Boulevard proceeds.
